Method inv
inv(Int32)
Replaces the value at index i
relative to the top of the stack
with it's multiplicative inverse,
also called the reciprocal. x = 1 / x;
Declaration
public void inv(int i = 0)
Parameters
Type | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
System.Int32 | i | Relative index of a stack entry. |
Remarks
It's a fast operation and should be used for 1 / x
instead of a equivalent div() operations.
Inversion of rational 0 values (0 / 1 => 1 / 0) results in NaN values which can be ignored for all bit-level operations.
